Wow! Our TriVillage Energy Committee has been notified that it has been awarded $138,000 from the NH Public Utility Commission to weatherize the Town Hall in Walpole and the municipal building in North Walpole. The grant was in response to the energy audit TriVillage arranged sometime back that disclosed major insulation needs in both buildings and a terrific grant applicaiton prepared last spring by committee member Andrew Dey. Funds will not be available until September, but work should be able to proceed after that. More later...
