Today is National Ice Cream Day, and Walpole Creamery is having special activities tonight beginning at 7:00 including an ice cream eating contest. Proceeds go to David's House in Lebanon, the charitable institution that provides housing for families of children in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital.
Tomorrow Sharon Tuller is having an open (pottery) studio and garden from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at 125 Prospect Hill Road in Walpole. She's accepting donations for the Fall Mountain Food Shelf.
