Here are several calendar notices/reminders for Walpoleans. Whew! I think I need to move to a smaller, quieter place! I can't keep up!  CCB

TONIGHT!  7:00 P.M. TOWN HALL SELECTMEN'S ROOM Hearing on suggested restructuring of High Street from Main Street east into a one-way street. Selectmen's regular meeting to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, April 5 TOWN HALL 
  Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Walpole Village School from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Admission by contribution. One of my favorite events of the year in town!

Sunday, April 5 at BURDICK'S  Keene Family YMCA drop-by reception to learn about the new facility opening in spring 2010. 

Friday, April 10 7:00 p.m. at the Congregatonal Church.  
Area singers and instrumentalists are joining the Walpole Congregational Church Choir to present Gabriel Faure's "Requiem", a well-known and loved choral work for the Lenten season. All are welcome to the public concert. Music Director Ken Olsson will conduct the chorus, soloists and string quartet.

Monday, April 13 at Town Hall.  Ernie Vose reports that the Cheshire County Farm Bureau is holding a meeting that is open to the public. The main subject is organic farming, but Ernie expects discussion on the proposed--and controversial--federal Food Safety Modernization Act and the new slaughterhouse for Westminster.  Tom Sloan of the NHDAMF will be the main speaker.

Thursday, April 16  The Friends of the Walpole Town Library will hold their annual meeting at the library at 7:00 p.m.
