Bill Hladky reports that Ken Burns has donated three signed copies of the the book, CD and poster for "The War" to be raffled for the benefit of the Walpole Historical Society, the Bridge wilson American Legion Post, and the Fall Mountain Educational Endowment. Tickets are 2 for $5 and are available from the Historical Society (2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Wednesday afternoons). Bill Hladly will also sell you tickets if you look him up at Burdick's. The drawings will be Sunday afternoon, October 7, at 1:45 p.m. at the Bandstand on the Common. CCB
