Ed. Note: I actually misquoted Jackie Caserta in the previous posting.  The tax cost of the Ballam Farm proposal was 9 cents per thousand or about $9 per hundred thousand of valuation, not $18. So her argument was even stronger than I said.  CCB

Given the changes Sheldon Sawyer mentioned at the meeting, I would think it would be more like less than $8 per hundred thousand. But that is moot now! We have lost an amazing opportunity. Sad. Mel

As noted those changes were only mentioned and as I stated in another entry, the article needed to be amended to include those "changes" in order to make them binding by vote.
