Walpole Boy Scout "Doing Well"

I'm happy to report that Walpole Boy Scout Blayze Robbins-Lique, who collapsed in the heat yesterday at the Memorial Day ceremony on the Common, is "doing well" today according to his mom, Robin Lique.  They're not certain what happened, but she's taking him to the doctor for a follow-up checkup. Blayze, a 5th grader at Walpole School, is thinking about baseball practice tonight!  Good luck, Blayze!  CCB

Re: Walpole Boy Scout "Doing Well"
As the EMT in charge of Blayze's care, I can assure you he was doing very well when we left him at The Cheshire Medical Center. The comments made by a few from the crowd about the American Flag being on the ground were heard but unfortunatley our patient care has got to take priority. We are all very patriotic, but we are also very conscious about the well being of our patients. And this case he could not be moved immediately to free the flag from under him. For those upset I appologize but ask for your understanding.
